While cleaning out a desk drawer, I stumbled upon a treasure trove of memories: cherished, handwritten letters from Bobbie and JOD to their grandchildren, spanning over 25 years of correspondence filled with travel adventures. I fondly recalled my children attempting to decipher JOD’s playful script, giggling at his tales of genius, like showering fully clothed to do laundry and clean himself simultaneously! They were grateful for the ease of Bobbie’s script, and her vivid descriptions of all things cultural, historical, and delicious were always a delight. These wonderful memories inspired me to collaborate with Amy and transform her incredible artwork into stationery designed for grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, and siblings—everyone yearning to share stories and connect. To sprinkle a little extra magic, we included our “memory key,” a QR code that allows senders to attach photos or short videos, infusing the stories with the art of the written word and the magic of moments captured in time.

As Amy and I discussed the "Post in Time" concept, we instantly jumped to wonderful memories of family Christmas stories and the power a letter can hold. We recalled the joy of helping our children write their letters to Saint Nick, cherishing the moments of magic that each Christmas season brought with special visits and signs of his goodness. We knew we wanted Amy’s whimsical art and design to transform our vision into a beautiful, magical woodland wonderland, capturing the essence of Vermont. This enchanting stationery would allow children to send their letters through moonlight and sleigh bells to Saint Nick in the Northern Woods. We also wanted to embrace the magic of the season by helping Saint Nick and his woodland friends send letters infused with the scent of pine to all the children who believe, especially those who may doubt the wonder and magic of the season. Saint Nick’s letters, written in ink and lovingly touched by the season's spirit, would be magically delivered to everyone who requests them. Life is a magical adventure, so we were inspired to play a role in the most enchanting season of a child's life.
